Curriculum

The children are involved in an educational preschool program from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. each day. The program provides for both a structured and an unstructured approach to learning.

The unstructured time allows the child freedom to explore and learn in a prepared environment, to develop thinking skills as she makes decisions in choosing various activities, and to develop social skills as she interacts with other children. The structured approach includes teacher-planned activities that allow the child to acquire readiness skills in reading, math, and writing. Weekly themes increase the child's knowledge of the world around him.

Our curriculum has been created by educated professionals who have spent more than 30 years working with young children. Time and experience have taught us what is effective and works best with young children. The goal of our program is to instill a love of learning in each child and to prepare children for kindergarten and life, having fun while doing so.

In addition to our theme based readiness curriculum, our Pre-K program uses the A Beka curriculum to teach math and reading readiness skills.
